Colorado delivered one of its most complete performances of the season on Friday, overpowering BYU 76–46 at the CU Events Center in a Valentine’s Day matchup that showcased the Buffaloes’ physicality, depth, and defensive control.
From the opening quarter, Colorado established itself inside, using size and rebounding to dictate tempo and limit BYU to one-shot possessions. The Buffaloes finished with a commanding 50–26 advantage on the boards, setting the tone for a game they led nearly wire-to-wire.
Jade Masogayo provided an efficient presence in the paint, scoring 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting while adding eight rebounds. Her ability to finish through contact helped Colorado maintain offensive rhythm throughout the afternoon.

Annabelle Dutat turned in one of her strongest performances of the season, recording a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double. She consistently attacked the rim and controlled the defensive glass, preventing BYU from generating second-chance opportunities.
In the backcourt, Desiree Wooten balanced scoring and playmaking with 16 points and seven assists, helping Colorado move the ball effectively and capitalize on transition chances created by defensive stops.
Colorado shot 45 percent from the field and held BYU to just 31 percent shooting, including 12 percent from three-point range, as the Buffaloes’ defensive pressure disrupted the Cougars’ offensive flow all game.
