DENVER — The Denver Broncos will share the field with the Arizona Cardinals twice in one week this preseason, starting with a joint training camp practice on Thursday, August 14, followed by a Week 2 preseason matchup on Saturday, August 16, at Empower Field at Mile High. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. MDT, with national broadcast coverage on NFL Network, local coverage on 9NEWS, and radio on KOA 850 AM & 94.1 FM.
The joint practice gives both teams an opportunity to elevate the intensity and evaluate players in a setting that mimics game-day speed — without the official scoreboard. For the Broncos, it’s a chance to measure their growth against unfamiliar competition as they continue installing schemes on both sides of the ball.
The joint session and game are part of Training Camp powered by Ford, and the Broncos will announce more details soon regarding fan attendance for the August 14 practice at the team’s Englewood headquarters.
With the regular season approaching, every rep matters — and this week gives the Broncos another chance to sharpen their identity on both sides of the ball.
