Bo Nix Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week following a stellar performance in the team’s dominant 38-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11.

Nix delivered a historic outing, completing 28 of 33 passes for a career-high 307 yards and four touchdowns while posting a remarkable 145.0 passer rating. His 84.4% completion rate set a personal best and established him as the first rookie quarterback in NFL history to complete at least 80% of his passes while throwing for four touchdowns and 300 yards in a single game.

This recognition adds to an impressive rookie season for Nix, who was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month in October and earned NFL Rookie of the Week honors just a week prior. His leadership has propelled the Broncos to a 6-5 record, putting them in playoff contention.

Teammates and coaches continue to praise Nix’s rapid development, with standout cornerback Patrick Surtain II commenting, “I told him, ‘Man, you’re trying to win MVP.’ It’s not even looking like Offensive Rookie of the Year; it’s looking like MVP now.”

Nix’s emergence as a franchise quarterback has rejuvenated the Broncos’ offense, and his consistent excellence will be key as the team pushes for a postseason berth.
