Denver East High School continued their strong start to the 2024 football season with a commanding 42-12 victory over Vista PEAK Prep on Saturday, August 31, at Aurora Public Schools Stadium. The Angels jumped out to an early lead, scoring 28 points by halftime, and never looked back.

Their offensive unit was firing on all cylinders, with a balanced attack that overwhelmed Vista PEAK’s defense. Meanwhile, the Denver East defense held strong, limiting Vista PEAK to just two touchdowns throughout the game.

This win improves Denver East’s record to 2-0, following their dominant 42-0 win over Sand Creek in the previous week. Vista PEAK Prep will need to regroup as they look to bounce back in their next outing​.
