On the defensive side, Denver East was just as impressive. The Angels’ defense, lead by edge DJ Crowe (’25) smothered Sand Creek’s offense, not allowing a single point and forcing multiple turnovers. Sand Creek found themselves repeatedly thwarted, unable to break through the relentless pressure of Denver East’s front seven.
