Valor Christian Eagles Set New Records in 22-6 Triumph over Arapahoe Warriors in 5A Lacrosse Championship

DENVER, Colo. – The No. 3 seeded Valor Christian Eagles soared to victory in the 5A Boys Lacrosse State Championship, crushing the top-seeded Arapahoe Warriors 22-6. The game, held last night, was not only a triumph for Valor Christian but also a historic event in high school lacrosse, setting several new records.

The Eagles wasted no time establishing their dominance, racing to a 7-1 lead by the end of the first quarter. This explosive start set the tone for the rest of the game, allowing Valor to cruise comfortably to their state title.

The final score of 22-6 marked the largest margin of victory in the history of the championship, surpassing the previous record set in 2013 when Wheat Ridge defeated Air Academy 14-2. Additionally, Valor Christian’s 22 goals shattered their own record for the most goals scored in a championship game, which they had set in 2017 with a 20-12 victory over the Dawson School.
